Box One Single-Speed Chromoly Cogs are CNC-machined from long-wearing CNC-machined chrome-molybdenum. It's designed to fit Shimano™ compatible cassette hubs and has a 5mm wide inner base, giving a more solid interface with the cassette body. Tested extensively by the Dutch National BMX Team, Damien Godet, Kory Cook, and numerous other elite racers, Box Two™ Freewheels combine durability with lightning-fast engagement. They feature nine, super durable pawls and are available in one of three choices -- 16, 17, or 18 teeth. To install, use the Park Tools™ FR-6 or other installation tool designed for single-speed freewheels with four notches that are approximately 32mm across measured inside to inside and 40mm outside to outside. The Box Four cassette adapts our Prime 9 philosophy of durability, simplicity, and reliability at a great price point. All cogs are stamped from steel, given our durable black coating and then the larger cogs are pinned to each other with spacers for easy installation.
